LEON Praises the CDC Party

Monrovia, Liberia: The Liberia Election Observation Network (LEON) applauds the Congress for Democratic Change’s (CDC) 17th-anniversary resolution compelling a 40 percent quota for women in leadership positions in the party and on the party’s list of candidates during elections. LEON also welcomes the party’s call on its National Executive Committee to appoint more qualified women to significant positions in government.
