Situational Statement on Lofa Senatorial By-Election

At 6:00AM this morning, the Liberia Elections Observation Network (LEON) deployed 85 short-term observers (STO) to observe the opening of polls in the Lofa County by-elections. These STOs are being supported by 5 district-level coordinators. Fully accredited by the National Elections Commission (NEC), our deployment is a representative random sample of all polling places in the county.
