Press Statement on Voting Around Liberia

Monrovia: LEON observers around Liberia have reported minimal problems during voting and Liberians have been voting peacefully throughout the country. Polling staff have been following procedures including those that give important safeguards against multiple voting and vote buying such as inking voters thumbs and voting in secret. LEON observers have assessed the process as good or very good in 83% of polling places observed.
