Press Statement Sinoe Senatorial & Montserrado District 13 Bi Election

This Statement summarizes our observation and findings of the 20 November 2018 bi-elections, focusing on counting, tallying, and handling of complaints. The elections were held in Sinoe County for the Senate seat vacated by Cllr Joseph N. Nagbe who has been appointed to the Supreme Court, and for Montserrado District 13 to replace the Representative seat left vacant when Saah H. Joseph won the Senate seat.

LEON deployed 53 observers to different polling places in all districts of Sinoe and a further 31 observers in Montserrado District 13 who observed on election day from before opening until the end of counting including tallying at the NEC offices in both Montserrado and Sinoe
