2022: Legislative Monitoring Report: 54th Legislative

The extent of this current legislative monitoring report focuses on plenary attendance at the House of Representatives and the Senate; lawmakers’ actual participation in plenary; communications including those from the president, other lawmakers, and ordinary citizens or citizen groups; executive sessions called; bill introduced, passed and Acts amended and the Legislature’s performance on its oversight function during the period. This first legislative monitoring report of the year coincides with the development and launch of a legislative research platform on LEON’s website. It is envisaged that the platform will be an invaluable resource for research on legislative activities beyond the 54th Legislature and serve as a source of information for constituents on how individuals and the entirety of the Legislature are performing for successive periods.
