LEON deploys 150 enumerators across the 73 electoral districts to conduct a pre-election baseline
survey on the General and Presidential elections scheduled for October 10, 2023. As Liberia
prepares for the conduct of the October elections, LEON will be conducting several surveys on
key thematic phases of the election. Over the weekend, LEON concluded the training of its
enumerators at six locations in Bomi, Bong, Grand Bassa, Grand Gedeh, Nimba and Montserrado
counties.

The survey is designed to provide key information to policymakers that can be used to improve
the electoral process, provide information to increase marginalized groups’ participation in the
electoral process, and mitigate electoral violence during the three phases of the electoral circle.
